I have not heard about AutoCAD. However, It makes perfect sense to discontinue these items because technology had improved and there new products from Autodesk that provide same solutions in a much better way...

The reason for combining 'Sketching and Illustration forum'  is that sketches and illustration share the same similarities except that illustrations are more detailed than sketches.

As for the 'Photoshop and Painter forum', this forum is for discussing tutorials on how to make 2D drawings, 2D characters etc.

However to make things easier, we will be creating a new section for 2D Software to avoid any future confusion.

In this tutorial I will show the start to finish process on creating an asset like this within Zbrush. It follows on from the 3 part hard-surface methods series.

Note: This isn't THE way to do something like this. There are many, many ways to model in Zbrush. There are a plethora of ways to combine different tools in ZB, this is just one of the methods I like to use.
