As Above, So Below is a digital art competition challenging daring comic artists worldwide. Participants stand a chance to win from a whopping sum of $1,500!
This epic challenge is brought to you by O Kingdom Come, an award-winning Pan African comic book studio, with their comic book title "O Kingdom Come" featured on international platforms, including the acclaimed Comic Book Resources, which recognizes O Kingdom Come as 'Best indie comic book, 2023'. O Kingdom Come is a 120-page graphic novel that tells of the fall of the Nubian empire and the constant battles between kings and kingdoms.
Submission guide
- Using O Kingdom Come comic book art as a reference, recreate any of the scenes in the O Kingdom Come comic book in your style.

- All entries must be submitted in both grayscale (or black and white) and coloured.
Note: Check the sample images below for the submission specification guide. Observe how submissions are merged side by side and flipped in opposite directions. Ensure to do the same when submitting entries.
- All entries are to be posted on Instagram and other available social media platforms, tagging @okingdomcome, @comic_con_ibadan and @cgafrica.
- Use hashtags: #AASBA #AsAboveSoBelowArt #Okingdomecome #comicconibadan2024.
Note: The more platforms submissions are posted on, the higher the chances of winning.
Reward
The top three winners will win a sum of 500 USD each.
Winners will be announced and awarded at the second edition of Comic Convention Ibadan on March 30, 2024.
