About this artwork

I modeled this grenade as a warmup. The modeling and uv's took a day while I spend another day texturing the grenade. I was focusing on hardsurface modeling and modeling some complex areas such as the lower portion of the grenade. I used Substance Painter to texture the assets, I exported the texture maps and took them into Photoshop where I then extracted the compacted maps to be able to plug in into Arnold shaders.
