Feared as both Ruler and Commander, Shango's ability to lead his army to certain victory is the stuff of Gods. Accompanied by his beloved wife, Oya, who often changed the weather in favor of Shango, victory was assured from the very beginning. His call to battle charged his army and sent shivers down his enemies' spines often causing them to flee the battle at the sight of the god-like duo. This image portrays shango in his full battle armor and his razor cuts evidently grace his bodily, only serving to show his superior masculinity.
