Journey to the Afterlife

Amaka, a woman in her prime, wakes up to find herself in the vast landscape of the ethereal desert. “My last memory” as she says to herself, “is of me; laying on the hospital bed, listening to the last words of my beloved, as he sorrowfully, and lovingly says goodbye”. She Stands and with divine instinct, knows that she must tread the cosmic plane, to arrive at the “Gate of Passage”, where she will be judged by the “Magistrates” to determine if she is worthy of passage or be damned to walk the land until “Njedebe”.
