About this artwork
It was really fun and great to work on this character within a very limited time, it was also challenging. The Sango concept art was a good base for reference which I used. I started the model sculpt from a base mesh which I already own. I had to create custom alphas as well as paint textures in photoshop which made it very interesting. While working on this project, I took a lot of liberty in looking at lots of other references in order to come up with something very good within the short period of time . I sculpted the model in zbrush, cloth was modeled in marvelous designer, all textures were done in substance painter, uvs were done in maya and zbrush, rigged and posed using maya advanced skeleton rig, visual development was done in maya. rendering was done using Arnold, composition done in photoshop.
