Queen Amanirenas was a legendary Nubian ruler of the Kingdom of Kush, remembered for her fierce leadership and courage. She famously led her army against the Romans, even after losing her, Husband, her son and her right eye in battle, earning her the title the one-eyed queen. Her strength and resilience continue to inspire African storytelling today.
