About this artwork

My submissions for "The legend of Shango" CG Africa challenge. I went with depicting Shango as a warrior king ready for battle, armed with good wits and his trusty double headed axes. A charismatic individual, wise and intelligent with a little mischief. As for the armor, its made of gold or an alloy of gold that helps him channel lightning through his body and out his weapons when he summons it. He is clad in light armor for agility in battle and his double headed axes are skillfully used both for attack and shielding.
